What is The Possible Dream?
The Possible Dream™ is an innovative grant-making program from Festival of Children Foundation and The Orange County Register that finds, funds and follows the dreams of children’s charities - from an inspired vision in an Executive Director’s mind to a finished project with tangible results.

What’s new this year?
You may already be familiar with the The Orange County Register’s longstanding signature grantmaking program, Season of Caring. This year we are pleased that, through a partnership between the OC Register and Festival of Children Foundation, we are expanding the scope of this program for the third year in a row to create The Possible Dream.

What’s different?
This year, when we challenge charities to create a Possible Dream request for funding, we ask them to:

Create The Possible Dream: the program or project you wish to initiate or maintain. Tell us the need, and tell us the solution.
Involve other groups: collaborate with other nonprofits, volunteers, or businesses to help you create your Possible Dream and expand the potential of its results.

When is the grant application due for the 2010/2011 grant-making cycle?
The application deadline for the 2010/2011 grantmaking cycle is September 21 at 5:00pm. Applications may be returned by fax, email or regular mail.
